Traveling from Hyderabad to Goa by train

Train is not a very suitable option when you want to travel from Hyderabad Goa because of the route and time it takes. The average time for train journey is around 17-18 hours, whereas the bus takes around 12-14 hours. You can also get a flight for around 1500 INR if you book in advance.

There are two trains that run between Hyderabad and Goa. One starts from Kacheguda (KCG) and other from Hyderabad Deccan (HYB). Trains take a longer reach to reach Goa hence it is advisable to take the bus or flights.

        • Sleeper (SLP) – (410-415 INR)
        • Third AC (3AC) – (1120-1135 INR)
        • Second AC (2AC) – (1460-1640 INR)

This route is quite busy during the long weekend and on festivals and vacations. Hence, prior booking is advised. If you find there are no availability of seats in the train then you can try for foreigners quota, single ladies quota, tatkal quota or use sites like Confirmtktย to find a confirm or RAC ticket.
